August 2007The calderstones exhibition has been a great sucess with over 1000 people coming to visit the exhibition. The commity would like to thank Eric Cooper the exhibitions organiser on behalf of all the members who exhibited and we are now starting to plan our exhibitions for the coming 2008 year of culture, Eric has secured some venues and all dates will be posted shortly.
April 2007There will be exhibitions which all members are welcome to exhibit in at. The people's centre Mount plesant April 20th to May 25th The unity Theatre 12th june to 30th june Calderstones 20th August to 2nd September There may also be an opening in Cunard Building for some of our works done through the main studio window of the paradise renovations. Also coming up in 2008 Metropolitan Cathedral 9th June to 21st June calderstones 21st july to 27th july and 11th august to 17th august.
Jan 2006- There will be an exhibition by members at the beginning of the yearThe photographer from the Daily Post will be there and has suggested that it would be a good idea for members to wear hats and bring easels so that the new photo will resemble the original one. It is hoped that as many menbers as possible can be at Speke Hall at 11am tomorrow. David We have an exhibition at the Linda McCartney Centre from 3 to 14 July. Our visit to Speke Hall will be on Monday 24 July [or Monday 31 July if the weather is bad]. |
